I have toe nonour to transait the enclosed copy of

a report by the Colonial Treasurer respecting certain standard weights which are missing from the Treasury. Every endeavour to trace these reigats das failed, and responsibility for their loss cannot now be attached to anybody.

2. It is necessary that tasse standard weighte should

be replaced, and I snail be obliged if you will be good enough to take

the necessary steps for procuring them and having then transmitted

to the Colony.
